Have you been looking for an opportunity to give back to your community?  Want a chance to enrich not only your life but your neighbors'?  Are you a student needing to fulfill your community service requirements?

We would be honored to have you join our family of Volunteers!  Did you know that it has been scientifically proven people who volunteer live longer?  What you are you waiting for, e-mail us TODAY today!

Our Foundation continues to grow by leaps and bounds!  We are seeking upbeat, professional and detail oriented individuals who embrace our mission of local advocacy.  Please note, these positions are not paid positions and will require a minimum commitment of 20 hours per month. If you have the time and talents to fulfill any of the positions you may be just who we are looking for!  Interested candidates should contact one of our Board Members for additional information and an application or attend one of our Volunteer Meetings to learn more.

Will be responsible for managing third party fundraising events, community outreach events, developing strategic marketing campaigns, maintaining our printed materials and implementing new support group programs for local cancer patients and their families

Will be responsible for responding to requests for assistance received from outside of our financial assistance service area of Gloucester & Mathews.  This will require that you have email and internet capabilities.  You will research resources available for these patients in their respective localities and provide them with a list of potential resources.  We average 2-3 of these requests per month, research will typically take 4 hours to complete depending upon the patient's location and you must be available to respond to the requests within 48 hours.

Over the last few years we have been honored by Gloucester High School Seniors who chose to adopt the Giving Garden Foundation for their Senior Projects.  These wonderful individuals have raised more than $3,000 to benefit local cancer patients through various fundraising events and have greatly contributed to raising awareness about our Foundation.
